We are  Women of the Word (W.O.W.).

Our purpose is "to be servants of the Lord, providing an opportunity for women to come taste and see that the Lord is good."

Our scripture base is Ezekiel 37:10.  "So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath entered them: they came to life and stood up on their feet -- a vast army." 

Our goal is to unite women of the Word from all over the west coast as one vast army for God's glory.  At present, 6 churches are represented by our members in this ministry.

We had our kick-off with a tea on May 18, 2008, hosted by West County Community Church.  Ladies from 41 county churches were invited.  The event was attended by 42 ladies representing 11 churches.

Our women's retreat, based on Psalm 34:8, "O taste and see that the Lord is good;"  was November 8 & 9.  It was attended by 60 women from 7 counties.  Our speaker was Libby Vincent from Folsom, CA  and Loretta Van Peborgh from Snyder Lane Church was our worship leader.
